1. Which type of WebCams is supported by BarCam?
BarCam supports all WebCams compatible with MS Windows OS. On the other hand, success of reading depends on the quality of captured image from the WebCam. As a result higher resolution webcams are recommended. In addition, webcams with focus adjustment feature will help to to set focus for barcodes in different dimensions.
2. Is it possible to use BarCam with the integrated WebCam of my notebook?
You can use BarCam with your notebook webcam. However, keep in mind that to read small barcodes you need to set focus of webcam which sometimes not possible with notebook webcams.
3. Which type of barcodes supported by BarCam?
For the time being 1D EAN-13,UPC-A and 2-D DataMatrix are supported. Other type of barcodes are planned to support which will be announced later in this site.
